Mr O'Toole is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with an NHS appointment at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, London. His private practice is based at three hospitals, the Portland Hospital for Women and Children on Great Portland Street, the Wellington Hospital in St.John's Wood and Bishop's Wood Hospital in Northwood, Middlesex.

At the Portland Hospital, a world renowned centre in paediatric surgery, Mr O'Toole treats infants and children with problems of the skin, the hand and the face. Adult patients are treated at the Wellington and at Bishop's Wood.
